Groundhog's Day!
We had so much fun learning about groundhogs and the tradition of Groundhog's Day.
We read many fiction and non-fiction books and compared fictitious groundhogs and real groundhogs. Ask your child if they know what personification means.
We learned about the diet, habitat and other fun facts about the groundhogs. See if your child can tell you what they know about groundhogs.
On February 1st, we made a prediction as to whether or not we thought the groundhog would see his shadow.
Half the class was excited by the outcome.
