Week 21 in Kindergarten

This week, we have had so much fun learning about using silent e. We call it Magic E and it has helped us change words like can into cane. After some practice, we took our own Magic E magic wands and played a game to change words. We have had so much fun reading words and learning spelling rules.

In science, we have been learning about things we like to do in winter. We graphed our responses and then starting learning how how to build a snowman and we have made a few snowmen. 

In the morning, we love to have time with our fifth grade buddies. They help us do math stations, practice sounds or sight words and help us practice our reading.

Week 20 in kindergarten

This week we learned about New Years and how people celebrate across the world. We also learned that many people make New Year's Resolutions for the new year. After reading a book about a squirrel who made a resolution to help others, we made our own resolutions.

We made some great resolutions.

I will take care of my little sister.

I will do my chores.

I will eat my vegetables. 

I will eat healthy and exercise.

I will listen to my teacher to get smarter.

I will be nice to my sister. 

I will brush my teeth everyday.

I will help my mom with recycling.

I will give my teacher presents everyday.  

I will practice my popcorn words. 

I will keep my room clean.
